Beginning in the name of the Creator,

First of all, I pay tribute to the supreme sacrifice of language martyrs in 1952, to uphold the dignity of mother tongue Bengal, I pay tribute to all the martyrs of the great liberation war of 1971.Made this country independent. Through which we got this independent country. Dhaka Press Club continues to work for public welfare and journalists. Where journalists or journalistic organizations meet as the fourth pillar of the state.Many people come here to demand fair trial with complaints, hold press conferences or human chains. Many people came to the press club to get their just demands. And most of the problems are solved from here.The acceptability and credibility of Dhaka Press Club is based on the reputation and professionalism of journalists and journalist organizations working across the country. Dhaka Press Club is always working for the development of journalists keeping its reputation intact.I hope that the Dhaka Press Club will be inspired by the ideals of the martyrs of 1971 and Abu Said, Mughad of the new Bangladesh and will work with the determination to build the country. Dhaka Press Club Federation has been formed as a bridge organization by bringing together all the press clubs of Bangladesh. I wish this organization success.

সৃষ্টিকর্তার নামে শুরু করছি,
প্রথমে শ্রদ্ধা জানাই ১৯৫২ সালে, মাতৃভাষা বাংলার মর্যাদা সমুন্নত রাখতে, ভাষা শহীদদের সর্বোচ্চ আত্মত্যাগকে , শ্রদ্ধা জানাই ১৯৭১ সালের মহান মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সকল শহীদদের প্রতি বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধাঞ্জলি।এই দেশ কে স্বাধীন করেছে । যার মাধ্যমে আমরা এই স্বাধীন দেশ পেযেছি। ঢাকা প্রেস ক্লাব জন কল্যাণে ও সাংবাদিকদের জন্য কাজ করে চলেছে। যেখানে রাষ্ট্রের চতুর্থ স্তম্ভ হিসেবে বিবেচিত সাংবাদিক বা সাংবাদিক সংগঠনগুলি মিলিত হন। অভিযোগ-অনুযোগ নিয়ে অনেকে এখানে সুষ্ঠু বিচার দাবিতে আসেন, সংবাদ সম্মেলন বা মানববন্ধন করেন। অনেকে তাদের ন্যার্য দাবী আদায়ের লক্ষে প্রেস ক্লাবে আসেন। এবং এখান থেকে অধিকাংশ সমস্যার প্রতিকার পেয়ে থাকেন। ঢাকা প্রেস ক্লাব এর গ্রহণ যোগ্যতা ও বিশ্বাসযোগ্যতা সারা দেশে কর্মরত সাংবাদিকদের এবং সাংবাদিক সংগঠন সুনাম এবং পেশাদারিত্বের ওপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত। ঢাকা প্রেস ক্লাব সুনাম অক্ষুন্ন রেখে সাংবাদিকদের উন্নয়নে সবসময় কাজ করে চলেছে। আমি আশাকরি ১৯৭১ সালের শহীদদের ও নতুন বাংলাদেশের আবু সাইদ,মুগ্ধদের আদর্শে উজ্জিবিত হয়ে ঢাকা প্রেস ক্লাব দেশ গড়ার প্রত্যয় নিয়ে কাজ করে যাবে । বাংলাদেশের সকল প্রেস ক্লাবকে একত্রিত করে এখন ঢাকা প্রেস ক্লাব ফেডারেশন সংগঠনের সেতুবন্ধ হিসাবে গঠিত হয়েছে। আমি এই সংগঠনের সাফল্য কামনা করি।
